“With a smooth outline the Habanero is an every day shortboard designed to perform in waves from waist to over head conditions!
A single concave under the front foot provides lift and acceleration and enables this daily shredder to engage the face of the wave.
A double concave through the fins redirects water flow through the tail assisting with lift and and control when surfing off the back foot, the double concave blends into a slight vee in the tail assisting rail to rail transfers and tight turns in the critical section of the wave face.
With a relaxed entry rocker and a little flick in the tail the Habanero should keep you surfing no matter what the conditions throw at you!”

Linear Carbon Technology
The Carbon Fibre placed along the centre of the deck acts in a similar way to a leaf spring providing storage of potential energy during bottom turns with a progressive release resulting in a smooth transition during top turns
Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam is typically the lightest of the three foams used in surfboard construction resulting in a much lighter board translating to increased buoyancy and floatation. Basically the lowest density or lightest board will float you the best! The advantage of better buoyancy is added paddling speed and increased manoeuvrability allowing you to ride a smaller board. EPS foam core is also less likely to deteriorate over time!
Epoxy Resin is a healthier alternative to polyester as epoxy emits 50-75% fewer VOCs (volatile organic compounds) than polyester resin, which means a decrease in harmful chemicals in the shop and the environment in general. In fact, epoxy is a common household item, safe to use without a mask and with only moderate ventilation. Epoxy is lighter than polyester. Under most circumstances, resin makes up a large part of a completed board’s overall weight. Not only is epoxy lighter than polyester, but less is needed per coat. This ends up meaning a lighter surfboard – a big plus for most surfers. The biggest bonus However is the durability and strength of epoxy resin.
We recommend that when purchasing a board in LCT Technology to stay within your familiar volume i.e. if you were looking at purchasing a PU board at 40litres then you would also look at purchasing an LCT at 40litres as the displacement will be the same.
